Scart Cable – For connecting equipments

Scart cables are primarily meant for connecting equipment together that have a male plug at each end. Scart cables have another name in America and they are popular there with this name that is EIA Multiport connectors or connections. This particular type of scart cables are basically rust in color and color coding is very rare. Scart cables possess very different, non standard configuration. Scart cable is something confusing for the customers. Sometimes scart cable does not make use of all pins and this left out using of RGB signals every time. In fact sometimes it is impossible to detect which type of signal is on display on the TV set but higher compatibility of Scart cable with set top box facilitate at least one scart socket to be featured fully. Presently, partly or not fully wired Scart cables started to disappear from the market, as modern devices systematically offers RGB signals. Scart cable unable to officially carry non-RGB e.g., YPbPr,  component video signals, that is gaining ground as an advancement over S-Video in markets and here scart cable can not be used. SCART cables offer only limited locking, utilizing detents, and are highly prone to falling off or getting loose. Loosing audio or video connection due to a loose Scart cable is highly common.
Quality of Scart cables depends on various things like using of miniature coax cables for the video signals, using of plain wires for all signals means cheap scart cable, this resulted in poor image quality.
